Letters From Rifka (BOOK REVIEW)
Letters From Rifka is a beautiful story of a young Jewish girl named Rifka. Rifka's parents decided to immigrate to America when the Russian government threatens to persecute all Jews. Rifka and her family experience many tragedies and horrors on their way to America. Once Rifka and her family make it to Ellis Island Rifka is not allowed to continue on because doctors find that she has a ringworm disease.
I really enjoyed this book and have read it twice! I would definitely read it again! This book is also from a really cool perspective! It is kind of like from Rifka's diary but instead it is Rifka writing letters to her cousin Tovah.
Will Rifka ever make it to America to be with her family?
