Gone-Away-Lake (BOOK REVIEW)
This story is about two siblings named Portia and Foster who are sent by their parents on a train to their Aunt and Uncle’s house. Portia and her cousin, Julian soon discover a long lost lake that had turned into a swamp. There are also a whole bunch of houses along the swamp and someone is living in one of them.

This book in my option was a little slow and boring, but if was enjoyable enough to finish in a couple weeks! It is a pretty short book only 15 chapters. Overall a good book. There is also a second book called “Return to Gone Away”.
I would recommend this book for all adults and children 6+
